STORY: From no websites to user experience-driven virtual storefronts receiving traffic organically through traditional marketing methods as well as SEO optimization. I was hired as contract designer to help establish and grow SVRB from an idea to a functioning business.

“We currently don’t have an online presence and would love to show people the work we do as well as build our business.”

RESULTS: Each website is currently drawing 200+ monthly unique visitors and has generated countless leads through website engagement.

SVRB’s logo was originally given the prompt “gorilla marketing” , though the founders did not want to include an actual gorilla and wanted the logo to be simple. The market analysis concluded that an arrow in the upward motion was common given the connotation of scalability. It was decided to focus on an approachable typeface which included the arrow.

Logo Design

I designed a cohesive and visually engaging series of slides that closely followed the established visual language and style guidelines of the brand we meticulously developed. This thoughtfully crafted pitch deck was utilized in multiple important meetings and ultimately played a key role in successfully securing new clients and expanding business opportunities.

Pitch Deck

One of our first major clients was a conglomerate off three businesses within Californias Central Valley. With minimal online presence, as SVRB’s Web and Graphic Designer I resurrected each businesses brand info and used that as a palate for developing a language that could encapsulate all companies as a brand. Focusing on simplicity, I used minimal color and a browser friendly sans serif font. I currently manage all three sites, which I designed and built using Squarespace, HTML, and CSS.

The Big Three

A virtual assistant business needed a logo, brand identity, a website with services, a blog, and assets for her social media. I was tasked with creating all of the above. The founder after the initial ideation (prompt: “Careful and Traditional Virtual Assistant”) spoke about wanting a feminine them, so I redesigned the initial ideas with the font amandine and included clock arms upon her request.
